Before signing a lease, it’s important for students to understand their rights, responsibilities and the terms of their rental agreement. Off-Campus Housing provides lease review support to help students better understand their agreements and address any questions before moving in.

Students securing a rental can book an appointment with a trained staff member for support. The team can answer questions or review a lease to help ensure everything is in good standing.

  • What are acceptable payment methods?
  • Is a guarantor or references required?
  • Is the rental pet-friendly?
  • Are there guest policies or restrictions?
  • Are there rules around decorating or making changes to the property?
  • Is subletting permitted?
