Types of listings
The listings are placed with the Service by private landlords that want to rent to students. The listings are divided into various categories depending on the type of housing. Those types are defined by the following:
Please note that the listings are NOT INSPECTED and SHOULD NOT BE RENTED "SIGHT UNSEEN".
Explanation of Your Search Results
Order of Listings Upon Search: Once you have either clicked on or inputted your search criteria, the results will appear in the following manner. Obviously, the categories (Type of Accommodations, Rental Price and Distance to Campus) that you have requested will be searched and honored, but the results will appear such that each of the "16 Designated Areas" of London will come up in the following order;
See "Designated Areas on a map. Then the results will appear in ascending order of price (lowest to highest) in each "Designated Area". The lowest price may be a unit that has no advertised price and the landlord is willing to negotiate. Some "Designated Areas" may not appear because they are outside the "Distance to Campus" that you have requested.
"Distance to Campus" is based on what a landlord tells the Service, but it is generally the distance from the accommodation to the edge of campus that is closest to the accommodation and is measured in a straight line.

Cost | $255/BR | Cost can be for the whole unit, or divided by bedroom. Unless otherwise stated, it is the monthly cost. It is assumed that utilities are not included unless otherwise stated in the amenities category. |
Region in London | Masonville Area | We have designated 16 housing areas within London. To choose the most convenient for you, visit our website map section to see a full colour map of the city. |
Address and Unit # | 13245 Western Rd #113 | This is the address of the place for rent and if applicable the unit number. |
Distance from Campus | 1.5 km | This is the distance from campus using the most direct line to the edge of campus closest to the rental unit, not necessarily the specific distance by car or on bike paths. It is an estimate. To view the distance map, look under the map section of the website. |
# of Vacancies | 1 Vacancy | This is the number of vacancies within the unit. |
Date Available | 01/01/2001 | The date available is written Month/Day/Year. |
